Resumen
The present article presents the process involved in the design and development of a power system capable of supplying commercial air conditioning equipment with a power of approximately 1000 Watts. This system has been possible through the design and implementation of a voltage inverter, whose topology and construction allows it to work effectively under the desired conditions. Since the device uses high currents and due to the cost and risk inherent in working with them, it is decided to use the technique of "multilevel inversion" or inverter by levels; This in order to avoid to the maximum shortages produced due to delays in the logical times of the sync signals or to erroneous connections in the test phase. As a result of this process a device capable of supplying from a DC voltage source - in this case, a battery - a range of air conditioning systems is quite comfortable and versatile for the company interested in acquiring this device, since The power range of "window type" air conditioning systems for which this device would be used ranges from 500W - 1000W of power. In addition, this device has an overcurrent protection system to prevent damage to itself or to the systems it feeds. Despite the specificity of the problem that gave rise to this project, the final product can transcend other applications in various fields, such as renewable energy, car audio, etc.
