Abstract

The study of the different behaviors that can be generated in the manufacture and production of asphalt mixtures have been developed at a global level with the purpose of producing mixtures that contain characteristics that enable their manufacture with a reduction in the use of energy and at the same time maintain the properties of an asphalt of quality and guaranteed efficiency. Also, the debated concern for the environment from the polluting practices presented in daily life, questions the world and engineering professionals in the creation of measures that mitigate and prevent the possible impacts that derive from the processing industry. of the asphalt mixtures, this is one of the reasons for this study, whose purpose is to take advantage of unknown components, such as the addition of blast furnace slag, resulting from the manufacture of iron together with conventional aggregates, thus creating a new technique for the improvement of this practice.
