Resumen
The institutional memory, history and documentary heritage of an institution have physical, electronic and digital supports. For this reason, it is necessary to apply methodologies that improve document management processes, optimally and objectively maintaining their order and hierarchy. However, officials (administrative, teachers and contractors) do not have knowledge of the standards, processes, practices and handling of technical and technological tools of Document Management. As a consequence, document management does not have the required importance, generating consequences such as: non-compliance with the law, disorder and loss of information. This problem leads to the following approach: What can be the teaching and learning model, which with the support of ICT, allows training officials in the concepts, standards, processes, practices and management of technical and technological tools of Management Documentary at the Francisco José de Caldas District University? To solve the problem, a teaching and learning model is proposed to develop competencies regarding the concepts, standards, processes, practices and management of technical and technological tools necessary for the proper development of information administration and Document Management, through the proper use of ICT.
