Resumen
Renewable energies, especially non-conventional ones, are gaining ground due to current environmental concerns and international commitments. In this context, photovoltaic solar energy stands out as a key option due to its sustainability and flexibility in installation scale and low environmental impact. Consequently, globally, it is expected that renewable energies will represent 40% of total energy capacity by 2040. However, in Colombia, despite its potential, the adoption of renewable technologies, especially photovoltaic solar energy, is limited, partly due to the lack of detailed and accessible information on its implementation and development. To address these challenges, the importance of education and the availability of detailed information on the installation of renewable energy systems in everyday contexts is highlighted. Therefore, this work aims to develop a design and installation manual for a photovoltaic system for small-scale self-generators with a capacity of less than 100 kWp in the department of Huila in Colombia. For this, a mixed and descriptive methodology is proposed that, through bibliographic review and an evaluation questionnaire to experts, will allow consolidating a detailed manual that would serve as a complete reference for the design and installation of small-scale on-grid photovoltaic systems, providing a standardized instruction that would simplify and facilitate the process for engineers and professionals in the solar energy installation sector.
