Abstract

The transformations that led us to modernity ripped the individual from the conventional traditions and structures, and even with the influence of one's status, rank and position in the "great social chain" ended any sense of individualism, falling into contradictory identities, so it is important to define a progressive character so as not to fall in this game. This can be seen from the art, in this case remember who you are; your tradition, your thinking, your goals is what fills the history and value of dance and being a hybrid with modernity, it seeks to obtain a character, an identity with which you will defend said art. With this work we wanted to achieve that, to have the challenge of thinking of ourselves as a set of stories between the past and modernity, staging the contradiction of two perspectives that are present to me in today's world, a more ingrained side to "being itself "In this case, our instinct to dance and another more superficial and consumerist, knowing how to take each feeling to the body and develop it in such a way that each one is readable, will allow us to clearly see the difference between them, like a hybrid-contemporary body.
