Abstract

The inadequate management of this waste is so evident that it is observed in the contamination of water sources, air, and soil, altering the ecosystems generating loss of biological diversity, fauna and flora and the modification of the natural landscape, exposing human health by At risk, the quality of life of current and future generations. Meeting and permeating these routines and habits of the population of the village of San Luis at the time of disposing of their waste is not an easy task, therefore the strategy of education and community participation is an option, through which programs, activities and workshops will be proposed that allow the resident community to know their territory first as it is endowed with a wealth of water and in this way strengthen a sense of belonging to finally create an awareness and proper treatment of waste
