Resumen
Due to the great transformations of the economy, customers are increasingly more demanding, informed and aware of the important role they play, because are those who value the product. Changes in habits, lifestyles, and preferences have transformed the cultural, social and economic world, forcing companies to be more flexible, services to the new reality, with new forms of distribution and all of this supported by the three key aspects of competitiveness: quality, speed of response and cost. The fundamental principle of Lean Manufacturing is that the product or service and its attributes must conform to what the client wants, and to satisfy these conditions advocates the elimination of waste. In general, tasks that contribute to increase the value of the product do not exceed 1% of the total of the productive process, or what is the same, 99% of the operations are worthless and therefore wasteful.
