GEOGRAI - PLUGIN de QGIS para generar mapas coropléticos municipales para el análisis del conflicto colombiano

Abstract

The thesis proposes the development of GEOGRAI, a QGIS plugin that facilitates the geographic analysis of information on the Colombian armed conflict, supporting the GRAI of the JEP in systematizing data on municipalities, years, and documented events. The plugin allows the visualization of the temporal evolution of events across the territory, identifying patterns of occupation and actions by the FARC-EP prior to the Peace Agreement. The project addresses its formulation, design, implementation, and evaluation under the 4+1 architecture model and an agile approach, including background, objectives, requirements, and software validation, aiming to improve report production and support the JEP’s mission of clarifying events and ensuring victims’ rights.
