Resumen
In recent years the demand and production of blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum) has increased enormously due to its multiple benefits, nutritional and antioxidant properties and its versatility as a product, which has generated great economic interest. In order to meet the growing demand for blueberries, in vitro cultivation has been seen as the most appropriate approach to have high volumes of plant material, in addition in vitro cultivation techniques offer the possibility of developing plantations with high genetic quality as phytosanitary, through the evaluation of disinfection protocols and establishment. According to the above, the objective of this work is to propose a protocol for the establishment in vitro of nodal segments of Vaccinium corymbosum that allows the development and growth of the same, starting from the standardization of the culture medium with nutritional supplements that accelerate and facilitate the process of sprouting and growth, defining protocols of disinfection and sowing that reduce the contamination and oxidation of the explants and guarantee aseptic processes and determining the conditions of incubation of the culture medium. Therefore, different treatments of disinfection, culture media and stimulation of sprouting by means of thermal shocks will be carried out, in order to define the most effective and viable protocol for obtaining seedlings that can give way to later investigations and vegetable micropropagation processes.
