Resumen
The eastern hills are of great environmental importance for the city of Bogotá, thanks to the wide range of ecosystem services they provide; however, the progress of degradation processes has been evidenced in them, making it necessary to recover these areas. The objective of this work is to carry out a landscape design based on ecological restoration criteria and adjust the replanting and landscaping program based on the new terms of reference of the District Secretariat of Environment (SDA) for the management, restoration and environmental recovery plan (PMRRA) of the Laja and Milagro properties affected by sandstone extraction activity. To do so, the fundamental restoration steps described by (Vargas et al., 2007) were followed and the proposed floral arrangements were made with native species of Andean and high Andean forests, with a staggered planting framework that allows for optimal use of the available areas and resources; This was done in order to promote connectivity with the Bogota Eastern Forest Protective Forest Reserve (RFPBOB) and mitigate the adverse effects on the visual impact of the landscape. Remnants of natural cover dominated by pioneer species and 772 trees of native species were identified, previously planted but for which factors such as their ecological guild or planting designs were not taken into account; during the development of the internship, new floral arrangements were proposed, 551 new individuals were established, and the use of bio-covers for the covering and revegetation of slopes and the establishment of 1,292 more individuals will be necessary.
