Resumen
This article evidences the process of design and construction of automatic control of irrigation system for crops. The electronic prototype was tested during its implementation in the city of Bogota, where the lack of rural areas has led organic food to be brought from other regions outside the city and not from this area of the country. As a result, the device responds to the need to build vegetable garden assisted by a precision system operating variables such as temperature, relative humidity and soil, which are coordinated to control a basic power for irrigation water and minerals. In order to achieve the management and control of the the harvest process, is implemented within the device, a system with a real-time clock and SPI communication module for storing the data refer to cultivation process. Besides, It provides a graphical user interface where the data is interpreted by the sensors, such as temperature and relative humidity, the amount of water and minerals supplied in the garden, among others things.
