Resumen
This article evaluates 15 alternatives for the reduction of the environmental impact generated by chromium salts in the manufacture of leather, it is sought that the selected alternative can allow companies to maintain or improve the quality of the product and comply with established regulations, this selection is made by means of multi-criteria decision methods (MCDM), using SAW, grey correlation and ELECTRE, which allow good results to be obtained when there are conflicts between quality, production, economic and environmental criteria. The importance of the variables is defined by hierarchical decision analysis (AHP), as a result of evaluating the costs, manufacturing conditions and pollution levels allowed in the city of Bogotá, the use of graphene oxide nanoparticles is postulated as a suitable alternative to replace traditional leather tanning as it presents properties that fully comply with the expected regulations, and yields good results in the three algorithms in which it was executed
