Actualizacion del plan de manejo ambiental de la planta industrial procesadora de residuos sólidos del Municipio de Tauramena-Casanare “Piprst"

Abstract

Within the multiple processes implemented in the Tauramena Solid Waste Processing Industrial Plant, there are three important processes that constitute the fundamental axis of the operation of the PIPRST, thus defining its nature; these are: the classification and selection of solid waste with usable characteristics (axis, plastic, paper, cardboard, glass, scrap); the transformation of organic solid waste into fertilizer through composting and vermiculture techniques, and finally, the disposal of unusable solid waste, whose usable characteristics are nil and therefore must go to the sanitary landfill for final disposal. Taking into account the above, the main objective of this research is to update the Environmental Management Plan according to the current Environmental License granted through Resolution No. 200.41.09.1227 of October 21, 2009, as the PMA which is dated 2005 and corresponds to the previous environmental license granted in 2002 which is repealed.
