Gathering information about the devices installed in the field for an institution run by the state is one of its main functions, a key part that allows you to show your ability to accomplish its business goals and provide good service to its users, allowing you to know you own and to the best of its reach in the territory administered, for this reason the errors found in the data collection procedures of its elements must be constantly corrected. The EAB makes a regular collection of information from valves and hydrants, using formats, which are filled out by hand in the field by employees of the company, causing errors in the transcription process and digitalization of geographic information gathered on paper. Given the above proceeded perform optimization procedure. the town of Kennedy prepared as a pilot area First we proceeded to collect the concerning regulations documentation, manual procedures and terminology related to the project formats, were consulted people involved in some way in the operation and who know the ins and outs the development of the procedure is established that spatial information is necessary for the development of the application, which was provided entirely by the EAB, potential users that the application to develop addressed were identified after an analysis was decided take the ArcGis Online platform as the best technological solution, after being assessed by the requirements of the EAB, to integrate the application to institutional GIS unification formats collection that owns the EAB was made, standardization of items to collect and the rules of loading data to FOLLOW were established, from the above requirements the design of the application was made, a procedure manual for users, trained users with which the tests were conducted in both office and in the field on the application, the user suggestions applicative were noted and the necessary corrections were made. The most important conclusion of this project is that it can be applied to all areas where EAB has divided the area in which it has extended its networks or extend their networks in the future in the Sabana de Bogotá, as well as may be applied to other devices that are part of the network of water and sewage, and requiring periodic verification of their spatial information.
