Resumen
The digital divide is the expression of inequality in terms of the adoption of technologies Information and Communication (ICT). It has characterizations, in attention to which gap is present. The Covid-19 pandemic urged to reveal it, because ICTs were a solution that increased inequality. In the Mipymes of the tourism sector of the San Andres Island the gap exists. Characterizing it was the objective of this research, with purposes of proposing strategies for its intervention. The field investigation was carried out with a sample of 300 MSMEs on the island, distributed in tourist accommodation establishments (112), tourist housing (125) and other types (63) of small business offers. The results confirm the existence of the digital divide in three types: connectivity, technological and productivity skills and abilities. All three recognized each other and determined its causes; the use of technological tools carried out by the MSMEs; and with it a strategic analysis was produced that finally led to the recommendation of 14 technological strategies to reduce the digital divide.
