La humanización de los animales de compañía y el desarrollo socioafectivo de los estudiantes: una experiencia en el aula desde las ciencias naturales

Resumen
The present work of degree is the result of an investigation that was developed with students of cycle IV of the District School Republic of Mexico IED of the program "Back to the school", secondary acceleration of the morning and whose objective was to establish the characteristics of humanization that manifest themselves in the socio-emotional development of the students in the interaction with their pets. To develop the question problem, a qualitative methodology was used, in which the content analysis was used as a fundamental technique to organize the information associated with a didactic intervention structured in 4 moments, validated by experts, implemented and systematized that allowed give an account of the manifestations of the humanization of companion animals linked to socio-affective development. The results highlight four categories related to the humanization of companion animals as a product of the theoretical review carried out that were consolidated through the research process. These are related to communication, well-being, emotional-family and behavior. The category in which observed a tendency of greater recurrence in student manifestations, was the emotional-family, followed by communication, behavior and welfare-care. In this sense, the study allowed to link the humanization of companion animals with some socio-emotional development skills such as emotional regulation, ethical and social conscience, empathy and non-verbal communication.
