The Public Services Company for Aqueduct, Sewerage and Cleaning of Líbano Tolima - EMSER E.S.P, is in charge of supplying drinking water to the entire municipality; In the same way, it is in charge of everything related to the management, maintenance and optimization of the sewerage network. According to the company's request, support is required in the hydraulic modeling and design for the aqueduct and sewerage networks of the aforementioned municipality, said profile must acquire skills in the use of programs that facilitate the realization of these modeling and the assessment of diferent scenarios in the planning, design and construction phases, which ultimately has an impact on the adequate control of investments in infrastructure works, both in aqueduct and sewerage. With the growth of the population of the municipality and its surrounding areas, it is necessary to project the floating population and possible new buildings, which must be ofered basic services such as drinking water and sewerage. The supply of drinking water is a fundamental and indispensable need for a population to obtain a better quality of life. With the proper design of aqueduct networks, the economic and social development of a population can be improved and, on the other hand, sewerage networks prevent flooding in case of rain, and from a health point of view, they are responsible for making sewage product of domestic, commercial and institutional activities that are generated daily. The projection of this internship seeks to provide support to model a safe infrastructure based on current regulations that allows the supply of drinking water, and the correct disposal of water and that, in turn, provide solutions to the needs present in the population, making use of applications and software such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, Google Earth.
