Abstract

This document aims to compile the information obtained during the completion of the internship-type degree thesis carried out in the second cohort of the Viva la Escuela program of the Ministry of National Education, at the La Estrella Educational Institution, Alto Jagual rural headquarters, San José hamlet, Norcasia municipality, Caldas department. The intern's educational process is based on the exploration of art education as a teaching method that helps to develop and enhance skills such as communication and expression of feelings and emotions, and at the same time, due to its versatility and dynamic richness, it helps to explore transversality with other areas of basic education, developing a taste and facilitating the understanding of the educational process as an integral part of the individual's personal development
