Resumen
Regarding the future of wireless communication systems, many studies predict that users of this type of network will spend approximately 80% of their time indoors, which will require focusing on supporting the use of applications in these environments; OWC technology allows it, by obtaining unlimited bandwidth and high immunity to noise with low latency but to achieve the best performance of these systems, it is necessary to continue investigating possible techniques that, when integrated, allow consolidating the best possible configuration, an option could be the use of Radio subcarriers, as occurs in RoOWC, so that the focus of the research work lies in discovering what should be the characteristics of a RoOWC system that can meet the requirements imposed by future applications in indoor environments.
