Resumen
This work shows the descriptive process of the pedagogy used by Mexican composer and guitarist Cutberto Cordova to teach children. The descriptive study is done through an analysis and observation process based on class vídeos, sheet music, and especific music and texts created by profesor Cordova with the objetive to study and improve the pedagogy used for the guitar in children. During the descriptive process two situations are taken in consideration; two students mainly of Profesor Cordova, Alex and Josue, studying at the (CIMI), to whom the observation process was applied to develop the research. The descriptive process gets through 3 different steps which aim to show clear evidence of important elements in Profesor Cordova 's pedagogy. Elements such as: confidence, motivation to get to know the student and to be flexible in class, are the main topics of interest in the research. Based on this elements, an investigation process is done according to specialized theory. And contextual information related to pedagogy for children. This is done to achieve a relation between the importance of this elements and the pedagogy applied in music. As a resource to carry on with the investigation, interviews, field work notes and recordings are used. This as a way to support the conceptual work, in order to be prudent when collecting and using the information applied in the pedagogy musical for children. Finally, it gets to some conclusions that show the importance and influence of the different concepts developed through the research about the positive results of the pedagogical practice employ by Profesor Cordova.
