Abstract

A professor and editor at the Universidad Distrital describes the launch process of the fourth issue of an academic journal focused on education and childhood. During the interview, the publication's history is highlighted from its beginnings in 2004 to its consolidation in 2014, emphasizing its achievement of international reach and the fundamental role of students and faculty in its development, including the migration to the OJS platform. An invitation is extended to the entire university community to submit research articles, reflections, reviews, and literary creations. Finally, the transition to a new editor for the next issues and the goal of increasing publication frequency to two issues per year are announced, concluding with an invitation to the launch event
