La investigación buscó caracterizar las relaciones, interacciones e impactos entre el fútbol y la política en Colombia durante el Mundial de la FIFA Rusia 2018, a través de un análisis cualitativo de discurso de diversos documentos y materiales relacionados con el fútbol y la política en Colombia durante este período. El estudio se enfocó en analizar cómo se presentan y discuten las interacciones entre el fútbol y la política en la prensa en el desarrollo del Mundial de la FIFA Rusia 2018 en Colombia, identificar la influencia del fútbol en el panorama social y político en Colombia en marco del evento mundial del fútbol que aquí nos ocupa, y determinar qué hechos políticos tuvieron un impacto directo en el fútbol durante el Mundial de la FIFA Rusia 2018 en Colombia.
Resumen
The main objective of this research was to characterize the relationships, interactions, and impacts between football and politics in Colombia during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia, through a qualitative analysis of discourse of various documents and materials related to football and politics in Colombia during this period. Specific objectives included analyzing how interactions between football and politics are presented and discussed in the press during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Colombia, identifying the influence of football on the social and political landscape in Colombia during the 2018 FIFA World Cup through the analysis of the press, and determining which political events had a direct impact on football during the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Colombia through the analysis of the press and other relevant documents.
