Resumen
The present paper had as a purpose the implementation of the contemporary dance in the middle education system. It is based on the job did in the public school “La Amistad”. The uses of the contemporary dance becomes relevant as an important and vital branch of the teaching of the Dance in the schools. Teaching of contemporary dance in the schools makes it is possible to potentiate spaces of social, cultural and psychomotor development where the students will have the opportunity to experiment in an optimal ways their abilities. In order to achieve the objectives of this graduation work it had made the following activities: Analytics diagnostics of the population, It was necessary to make plans for each class, which show the process and develop of the implementation of the contemporary dance and its corresponding practice and theory, accompanied of its methodological and evaluative development of the area in charge. As a result of this graduation job, we have a number of artistic samples made and build according to the job process of each group and lead and oriented by the passant student. All artistic samples had part of the artistic and cultural day of the school and they had a big recognize and acceptation from the educational community. It accomplished the purpose of the project and showed that contemporary dance can be implemented successfully in the formal education programs in our schools.
