Resumen
Through the study and analysis of some of the chronicles contained in the works Nueva antología de Luis Tejada, by Luis Tejada Cano, and La eterna parranda, by Alberto Salcedo Ramos ─both authors considered fundamental bastions of colombian journalism─, this research aims, by on the one hand, delve into the narrative forms inherent to the chronicle genre that allowed the deployment of some of their non-fiction stories and, on the other hand, seeks to identify relatively common thematic approaches between both writers that are linked under the objective of configure, through the journalistic work of the chronicle, an approach around several relevant aspects on cultural identities in Colombia. Taking as a methodological foundation the discipline of comparative literature, from the perspective proposed by socio-critical studies, this research exercise advances a detailed observation that, through the contrast and juxtaposition of the stories of both authors and, appealing to the use of forms and textual analysis matrices as instruments for collecting information, insists on contributing to the understanding of some of the multiple and varied features that make up the endless series of characteristics that account for national identities. Thus, the sociohistorical context of Tejada and Salcedo is taken into account as a social substrate that feeds their respective works, while the formal aspects of their chronicles are taken into consideration with the purpose of elucidating part of the intricate universe that the 'colombianidades' represent.
