Resumen
The present research work collects the state of the art on the optical techniques most used and currently used for biodetection, with special emphasis on techniques based on surface biodetection. The most significant advances, physical and operational principles of each optical biosensor (BSO) are collected. The evolution of each technique is addressed from the frame of reference of journal articles, books and doctoral theses. It does not maintain a chronological discourse, rather it proposes an analytical one and generally without delving into the complexities due to the high degree of specificity of each technique. First, a method for the elaboration of art states is proposed and the method is applied to this research. In which a description of the principles of elaboration of each device is given in general and a model of layers is proposed that addresses the components of the biosensors relating them to their functions and the processes that are carried out. This in order to facilitate their understanding and that these schemes strengthen the didactic transposition before the complexity of the literature in this field. Finally, a point of comparison of the detection and sensitivity limit of the different technologies is established.
