Resumen
Objective: The work presented in this document is to design a software that allows adjusting the unidirectional instantaneous and timed protection function using the IEC 60255-151 of 2009 and IEEE C37.112 of 2018 standards. Methodology: To design the "CD2I Protect" software that allows adjusting the instantaneous protection function and the timed protection function, a methodology divided into 4 modules is proposed, the first module is an initial menu where the user can access the programs designed for the study of the timed and instantaneous protection function, the second module was designed for the study of timed or instantaneous curves where it will be possible to access different windows that contain the information of each one of the parameters of the timed curve or each one of the the parameters of the instantaneous curve, the third module was designed to study the parameters of the instantaneous timed curve and a fourth module where the adjustment of the instantaneous and timed protection function, the adjustment of two timed protection functions and the adjustment of two functions of timed protection and two instantaneous. To evaluate the efficiency of the "CD2I Protect" software, the results are compared with commercial software. Result: Taking into account the described methodology, "CD2I Protect" is carried out applying the IEC 60255-151 of 2009 and IEEE C37.112 of 2018 standards, which contains interactive modules to study the parameters of the timed protection function. such as dial, types of curves, pickup multiple, and a module was designed that allows interaction with the time characteristic equation. Additionally, modules were designed to study the parameters of the instantaneous protection function such as protection time and instantaneous pickup current. For each of these modules, instructions were designed that contain the theoretical information of the parameters and thus provide the necessary information to deepen the knowledge acquired in a theoretical and practical way. To evaluate the effectiveness of "CD2I Protect" the comparison is made with a commercial simulator ETAP, from the comparative analysis an accuracy of 98% is obtained Conclusions: a software was developed with a graphical interface that contains 4 modules where users can parameterize each of the elements of the timed protection function and the instantaneous protection function, a comparison is made
