Abstract

The memory grade work of the Sincopando Group. Chamber Music of Colombian Composers of Popular Genre at the end of the 20th century. Sheet Music Edition and Biographical Review was carried out at the Gabriel Esquinas Arts Documentation Center of the ASAB Faculty of Arts of the Francisco José de Caldas District University. The investigation of the existence and activity carried out by the Sincopando Group descended to meet a repertoire made up of numerous arrangements of well-known works by popular Colombian composers. Much of this abundant repertoire caught my attention, leading me to select part of the production that took place in the first stage of the group (1993-1995) as the focus of research, recompiling copies of the manuscripts, both scores and partheets, to make the digital edition in the Finale program of seven works, mostly from this period. Subsequently, in order to carry out a documented biography about the group, reviews, hand programs, photographs were compiled and an interview was conducted with four of the founding members of the group, delving into the training processes, work methodology and trajectory of the group. group. The result obtained at the end of this work is the digital edition of these seven arrangements belonging to Sincopando in its first stage, together with its technical data sheets clarifying the decisions made in the edition, and a documented biographical review of the group.
