Resumen
Throughout my career as a flautist, when approaching a work of flute literature, I have been concerned with how to interpret it while maintaining fidelity to the text and the author, studying the characteristics of the language that define a style and an era, in order to achieve a satisfactory musical result. Generally, the study of the instrument focuses on Western European scholarly music, progressing through the flute repertoire according to the technical and interpretative development acquired in the formative process as a performer, during the curriculum of the degree. But taking a retrospective look at the musical environment in which I was trained, the current needs as a musician, and the job possibilities in my immediate environment, a series of questions arise that could define my musical artistic panorama.
