Resumen
This document presents a methodology that complements the requirements for design and construction of the Colombian Regulation for Seismical Resistant Buildings established in 2010 (NSR-10), with the proposal for the calculation of hydrodynamic forces supported on Housner's mathematical model represented in the ACI-350-06 standard and also using the tables proposed by the Portland Cement Association (PCA) for walls and plates as an alternative to structural analysis. The proposed methodology is condensed into a software or desktop application that condenses the procedure of calculation of static gravitational loads, lateral (proposed in the NSR-10) and dynamics (established in the Norma ACI-350-06), along with the method of structural analysis proposed by PCA, and finally allows the structural design of these tanks supported on criteria established C.23 section of the NSR-10 Regulation.
