De la canción infantil al concierto instrumental

Abstract

"From the children's song to the instrumental concert" shows the process of musical adaptation of three children's songs, with the purpose of performing an instrumental concert in audiovisual format. Two of them are taken from the Colombian children's songbook and the initial melody of the third one is a creation of one of the authors of this degree work in the modality of creation and interpretation. This adaptation in terms of creation refers to the contribution of the rhythmic and harmonic elements, sustaining the creative act in the design and realization of the rhythmic structure with the presence of harmonic instruments, daily instruments and MIDI controller, inspired first in the importance of resizing sonorously objects of the environment and second in approaching the spontaneous dimension that exerts the presence of the children's song to the contemporary sound language in technological terms. The elaboration of the scores is assumed as the part of the creation that registers the final product in all its dimension, in terms of graphic document. Finally, the audiovisual record reflects the work of creation and interpretation with a didactic resource approach as film material, evidencing the achievement of the initial purpose: "From the children's song to the instrumental concert".
