Resumen
The present thesis accounts for the experiences and conclusions derived from the rural practice and internship at La Creciente School, located in the municipality of Santa Rosa de Viterbo, Boyacá department, thanks to the Viva La Escuela program of the Ministry of Education. This program seeks to reduce educational gaps by allowing volunteer teachers to conduct practices in rural areas, thereby strengthening education in these contexts and responding to the challenges arising from the long-standing state neglect of rural public education, exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis. The report includes a series of narratives that help understand alternative teaching-learning methods by applying tools such as dialogic learning and participatory methodologies through various artistic and cultural disciplines, such as dance, music, visual arts, theater, and literature. The objective is to generate awareness of social change, strengthening education for our children and aiming to, through Artistic Education, guide and collaboratively build a school that is increasingly critical of itself and its surroundings, more empathetic, sensitive, and a creator of its own processes for life.
