Desarrollo de la aplicación SmartQuick en el almacén Dorado Bogotá de la organización Corona S.A.

Abstract

This work is a report about the internship carried out in 2020 at the warehouse Centro Corona Dorado-Bogotá, Organization Corona S.A. The process of adaptation of a "SmartQuick" router software is presented to generate traceability in the dispatch and last-mile delivery processes for said warehouse. The main objectives refer to diagnosing the situation encountered at the beginning of the process; testing and adapting the router; and seeing what the impact of this technological improvement is in the last mile.The results are satisfactory, showing the tool as a growth opportunity for the Corona Logistics and Transportation (L&T) area. The main recommendation, derived from observing the developed process, has to do with the need to take advantage of the data and information collected by the company to carry out information analysis processes that lead to projecting the company into the future.
