Resumen
The great genetic variability of the potato allows its use in works of resistance or tolerance to pests, diseases and adverse conditions; also has characteristics of phenological type that allow to adapt it to the modern requirements. The crops of Solanum tuberosum Group phureja have an absence of a dormancy period which is related to phytohormones, and this limits their use at domestic and industrial level. This work provided an explanation of the observed changes in a crop irradiated with cobalt 60 with different doses of radiation, which took into account phenotypic and genotypic changes based on DNA and RNA extraction, with the evaluation of the expression of the ABI4 gene and the DELLA GAI protein, by means of the DNA and RNA quantification, the PCR technique and the evaluation of the products by electrophoresis.
