Visibilización de las formas de violencia de género en mujeres jefas de hogar y la configuración de sus identidades en una realidad comunitaria local

This research was aimed to make visible forms of gender violence inwomen, women heads of household and configuration of group identities, from the perspective of personal skills, taking as his inner world, and from the capital, as the external world, regarding the management of their community affairs. These aspects were part of a local community actually located in the town of Ciudad Bolivar in Bogota. The study was conducted over a period of time ranging from the second half of 2013 until the first half of 2015. The meanings were investigated, from the rational and imaginary assumptions, the events of violence and the mechanisms of protection of the rights of these women. The individual and group experiences were explored, from the categories of personal capacities of women and social capital. Think social identities involves reflecting on relationships of domination or claim of autonomy, specifying their individual and group experiences. In personal capacities of women under study it took into account, freedom of choice and self-assessment, and social, social networks, the bonds of solidarity and group ties. Aspects of gender violence were defined, resulting in abuse, assault and murder of women, because of their gender. Shaping the identity of the group of women under study, in the urban context, also it showed directing its link in the spaces of responsibility and decision making in the communal, as a political and cultural territory. From the methodological, eight case studies with female heads of household were held, from a qualitative approach, with stories, which showed responses to twelve questions designed in the form of a semi-structured interview, taking into account the social category gender, the meanings of the forms of gender violence and setting personal and group identities in a local community context, highlighting cultural actions Corporation House of Culture of Saudi neighborhood. Thus, the interior that defines the aspirations and fears of every woman own world made visible, and that relationship with the environment, with all the social dynamics this implies, was managing individual development from community work in the House of Culture, as a corporation, which brings together as a group, highlighting how they relate to their environment, investigating their ideas and knowledge, against dominant norms and values that perpetuate the subordination of women, from the generic , communal, cultural, family and social.
