Importancia de la metodología BIM en la gerencia de proyectos

Abstract

This monograph was carried out with the premise of the shortcomings of project management presented in the development of an infrastructure project due to the lack of information, communication and organization throughout the life cycle of the assigned project; Despite implementing traditional tools, delays and waste of resources are still generated that can be solved under a stricter methodology and communicated to the professionals who work on it. For this reason, a survey was conducted aimed at professionals and companies that work in the different areas of the infrastructure sector in Colombia, in order to highlight the importance of the BIM methodology in project management, by collecting information corresponding to the issues of regulations, application and contributions in the control of a project; This is complemented by a consultation made based on articles from different sources, allowing to highlight the characteristics of project management and the advantages that are obtained when combined with the BIM methodology and the technological tools that they offer promoting collaborative work.
