Resumen
The growing interest and concern of modern society insists on the need not defer more specific actions to educate future generations in the practice of caring for the environment. School Environmental Project (PRAE) is considered as the primary axis of school activity to build environmental awareness, it gives an opportunity to change the vision and provides the opportunity to go changing traditional models, this research provides that in the process of learning the student must have an active participation that allows it to play a dynamic and significant role in the time to build and co-construct knowledge related to environmental concepts. Therefore, under this approach, a strategy that allows the optimization of management PRAE of a district school, looking first, encouraging the active participation of students, teachers and the community in general to work in an interdisciplinary manner arises , involving different knowledge in the search for environmental solutions for the institution and the school environment, trying to develop values that ensure the well-being and the ability to survive as a human species, determining that educational context, should ensure their activities by in harmony with the environment, so that the negative consequences that may represent processes and products related to them are dwindling.
