Resumen
This work of Creation presents the fashion as a necessary social element for understanding the past events, it addresses the author’s personal interest for fashion and arts and shows motivation for history teaching in the school environment through daily elements like clothing, body ornamenting, beauty ideals, and fashion in general in the Second World War context. The first part represents the research that supports creative product (second part): A book that merges the joy for fashion and its productions with the academic exploration about the sociology of dress. This is an editorial creation motivated by history teaching through daily objects and aspects of the societies, that allow the readers to explore and discover in a visual journey in many countries, the military clothing, its influence in the work of renowned designers and fashions brands, the daily fashion, the advertising, the celebrities at that time, and finally to know the fashion in Colombia during the period of conflict. This publication aims that readers and teachers find attractive and inspiring the history of daily objects whose origins and dynamics can reveal a great part of what we are now.
