Resumen
This paper seeks to describe and analyse the relationship between a group of women-mothers from Bogotá and the Google® search engine when it comes to managing information for health decisions, from a communication-education perspective. It is intended to contribute from the communication-education field to the creation of critical and analytical processes for health decisions in the person - Google® relationship when managing unlimited data on the internet. Through a framework of analysis for mixed methodologies applied to the participants' narratives, the dynamics that have been established between the participants and Google® and the transformations in the traditional roles and relationships around health decision-making are described ; Six communicative-educational problems are identified in the dynamics established with Google®, and the minimum characteristics of a digital tool that seek to support users in their decision making on health issues are proposed. Finally, reflect on the relevance of the communication-education field in health problems and highlight the opportunity to grow, build contributions and weave connections between disciplines and generate meeting nodes.
