Análisis y categorización de las características técnicas, interpretativas y del contexto de la voz gutural (vocalidad extrema y/o voz distorsionada)

Abstract

The objective of this monograph is to organize the information collected on the guttural voice to generate possible theoretical and practical tools in the process of vocal experimentation of this technique, considering the data found together with the tools acquired in the study of singing, in addition to the analysis of two songs where the distorted voice has a significant expressive role. Therefore, the research that has been developed is of qualitative approach through two fronts, the first is documentary research, with which intertextual bibliographic references, audiovisual materials were consulted, in addition to an interview with one of the teachers of the singing chair who shares the same interest in extreme vocality. The second front is experimental research, where a work plan was built, and a practice methodology was developed; These aspects were reflected in audiovisual logs and in the writing of a field diary of the process carried out.
