Abstract

This work is made, in order to show the work of grade as monograph, to obtain the title of mechanical technology, this document contains a brief introduction about the process of selection of pumps, showing which types of programs were used for the development of the tool then, will show a brief account of the background to the selection of pumps in thesis of degree or software made by any company. Subsequently, the document contains the most important aspects that involve general concepts, classification of pumps, behavior of curves, among others. Manifested General aspects of programming codes, which allowed the production of pumps selector, it will be shown as data of catalogs were included in the database as well as what criteria were taken into account both to choose domestic suppliers as the parameters to be used in the switch of pumps.
