Abstract

The internship carried out at the Instituto Distrital de Recreación y Deporte (IDRD), within the Promotion and Development area, aimed to strengthen the administrative and technical management of the Juegos Intercolegiados Bogotá 2025 program by addressing the issue of work overload within the organizing team. Through the application of a questionnaire based on Karasek’s Job Demand–Control Model, complemented by direct observation and document analysis, factors of occupational stress related to high workloads and limited internal communication were identified. Based on these findings, strategies were proposed to optimize task distribution, incorporate digital management tools, and implement well-being measures, along with promotion and loyalty actions to enhance relations with participating schools. This process provided practical solutions to strengthen the program and improve its overall efficiency
