Resumen
The purpose of this research was to learn about the discourses about childhood in disability at the UPZ Arborizadora in the town of Ciudad Bolivar. A methodological design was applied from the approach to ethnography in which families or caregivers, teachers and other professionals from different areas of the pedagogical and health sector participated, using instruments such as workshops and semi-structured interviews. The results show that the discourses of the actors have different positions from the medical model and social model, therefore, it is concluded the importance of the actions carried out by the different actors that are immersed in the childhood with disability, which must be oriented from the capacities and abilities of the children with disability.
