Resumen
The present work bases its studies on a student scenario, where there are shortcomings in civic competences, with respect to the educational system and school coexistence, having students with diverse experiences in their learning process of school education content and the influence it exerts on their way of appreciating coexistence at school, familiarizing it as a conflict or as a violent space; taking into account that there is a lack of didactic strategies that exercise a preventive power of this violence; This reveals the need to know the orientations and guidelines developed by the Ministry of National Education (MEN) in the training of children and young people and, in addition, the implementation by teachers in the classroom and in other school settings. Taking advantage of educational projects that are led in the technology area of the El Minuto de Dios school in Bogotá, a study is carried out on the impact that the design of a didactic strategy can have, with the implementation of a video game called "Minuto de Aventura". , in the prevention of coexistence conflicts and how this strategy contributes in the mediation of conflicts and the improvement of school education. A methodology with a mixed approach is implemented, applying surveys, a semi-structured interview and a focus group, which allows analyzing the incidence of the implementation of the Serious Games strategy to improve citizen skills for coexistence and peace in sixth grade students.
