Abstract

The management of telecommunications projects is inherently complex due to the dynamic and ever-evolving nature of technologies and market requirements. The application of internationally recognized project management standards can significantly contribute to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of telecommunications project management. The Project Management Institute (PMI) is one such organization that develops globally recognized project management standards and certifications. PMI standards provide a detailed framework for project management, covering everything from planning to project execution and closure. By using these standards, telecommunications projects can be effectively and efficiently managed with a clear and well-defined structure. This document introduces a methodology based on PMI standards for the estimation and evaluation of a telecommunications project involving the development of an application to manage physical network inventory. This methodology enables the application of PMI standards to optimize project management and ensure successful project delivery within the specified time frame.
