Resumen
This text is the result of the observations, descriptions and interpretations made in the development of the proposed work implemented at the Simon Bolivar College Board with 702 grade 36 students of the day later. After observing some behaviors in which the difficulties of students at this level, in terms of their interaction with nature and care for their environment, need to characterize their environmental identity is generated are evident and for that they involved in a project in which they have the opportunity to participate in the construction and adaptation of a butterfly inside the school, allowing them to experience other ways of relating to nature and the environment. This work develops the methodology of action research, with a qualitative approach and descriptive and interpretive guidance; instruments such as field diary for both students and researchers and an environmental workshop led by an expert on butterflies are used. The estimate for this project development time was 10 months divided into three stages: 1. exploratory stage, 2. Stage of development and implementation, which is divided into five phases: a) Qualification of students and butterfly design, b) Construction and adaptation of the butterfly, c) capture and linking species, d) Installation and storage of dead species e) Development of environmental workshop with an expert on butterflies; Step 3 corresponds to the systematization and results and is divided into two phases: a) Observation, systematization and evaluation of results and b) Disclosure to the community. This deepening project used resources approved by the Board of the institution where it was developed and the program of support to educational projects INCITE Secretary of District Education.
