Resumen
The project consists of a proposal for the implementation of a photovoltaic energy system at the dairy processing plant of the Peasant Association of the Cimitarra River Valley (ACVC), in response to the lack of access to a public electricity grid. Currently, the plant relies on a diesel generator, which results in high operating costs, pollutant emissions, and significant fuel consumption—factors that negatively impact the competitiveness of buffalo milk producers. To address this issue, a sustainable solution based on solar energy is proposed, ensuring a reliable power supply, cost reduction, and a lower environmental impact. A significant decrease in operating costs is anticipated, fostering the development of the ACVC and contributing to job creation within the community. From an environmental perspective, the use of renewable energy will support climate change mitigation efforts. To ensure the project's success, monitoring and evaluation mechanisms will be implemented to assess energy production, cost savings, and the reduction of the carbon footprint. Through this initiative, the ACVC aims to position itself as a model of innovation and sustainability within the rural agro-industrial sector.
