Resumen
The research brings comprehension about childhood and play experiences lived by a group of young people who grew up in the Armed Conflict context from the township of Vegalarga-Huila during the historical period between the years 2000 to 2002. The study was done from a qualitative paradigm based on a phenomenological methodology with a historical perspective because it acknowledges narratives like the story of life, the voices around the experiences of the play and their relationship with the identity construction made by the participating subjects. Taking up theoretical approaches from other authors like; Benjamin (2001); Huizinga, (1987); Aries (1987); Bruner (2013); Ricoeur, (1999) y Galtung (1998), the main findings and analytical interpretations are presented concerning the central categories of Experiences of childhood, play and identity in the armed conflict, whose abstractions allow understand the various meanings that underlie the childhood experience narrated by each subject. The results lead to recognition in the conclusions that subjective elements of particular experience condition experiences around play and childhood. However, at the same time, they depend on the cultural, social, political and economic context in which the life of the subjects passes, bringing into account of the recursion, resistance, and protagonism of children even in adverse situations that limit the conditions to enjoy playing as a completely free, unintentional and pleasant practice in childhood.
