Territorio a escala local : percepciones espaciales en estudiantes del colegio El Paraíso Manuela Beltrán

Abstract

This thesis was developed between 2023 and 2024 as part of the pedagogical innovation and research cycle of the Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences at the Francisco José de Caldas District University, within the line of geographic education, teacher training, and citizenship training. Its purpose is to understand the spatial perceptions of the territory at local scales (home, neighborhood, school) by 6th and 8th grade students of basic education at Colegio El Paraíso de Manuela Beltrán IED Sede C based on humanistic geography and pedagogical action research. Cartography, mind maps, and field trips are used to produce information, and the practical guide "Perceptions of the territory. 3D cartography and field trips" is created as a teaching resource aimed at studying spatial perceptions by teachers.
