Abstract

In this project, the implementation of a lettuce seed germinator located in the Vida y Liderazgo Foundation, a non profit organization that helps people in the Usme sector in unfavorable conditions, will be implemented. It is proposed to implement and use elements of instrumentation characteristic of the industry to sense and control the growth of lettuce, the proposed automation will be aware of the variables of temperature and humidity. Additionally, the prototype will be made for the implementation of this process, all with the purpose of making this germinator useful for the help of these people in their process of cultivation for vegetables. The present proposal will be carried out under the research modality, by which it is required that the results be expected within a period of no more than six months, with the expectation that all people in the Usme sector who come to this foundation will use it. and that germination process is more efficient.
