Abstract

The student, Andrés Julián Valenzuela Aponte, carried out his internship as a graduation modality at SEGA INGENIERIA S.A.S for four (4) months, where he held the position of engineering assistant. The intern was assigned to review the quantities previously sent by the contracting entity for the construction of the footprint plate in the department of Boyacá. In this sense, the intern had to make the plans of the structure in question, based on the regulations required in the specifications of the construction contract, making their respective steel breakdown and configuring each of the calculation reports as appropriate. Subsequently, once the compaction of the granular sub-base was carried out for the construction of the tread plates, the intern was given the task of carrying out density tests in situ (Sand Cone Method I.NV. E-161-07 ) to experimentally determine if said material complied with the minimum percentage of compaction, making the comparison with the density obtained in the compaction test in laboratory (Modified Proctor) Standard I.N.V. E-141.
